I’m Phuong, a Hanoi-based independent photographer.
I was born in a village along the Thu Bồn River, just before it reaches the sea near Hoi An Ancient Town. As a child, I walked to school along muddy paths, surrounded by quiet sights and sounds that deeply shaped my connection to the land. Those early experiences cultivated a profound love for Vietnam. As I grew older, I witnessed many traditions gradually fading due to urbanization. Vietnam has changed significantly, yet the warmth and hospitality of its people remain. This inspired me to travel and document the country’s rich cultural diversity.
Driven by a deep passion for Vietnam and visual storytelling, I have lived in 3 Vietnam’s regions and journeyed through nearly all provinces of the country. My work has been featured in various media outlets.
I have always desired to connect travelers, photographers, and culture enthusiasts with an authentic Vietnam. I currently organize photography tours and workshops in Hanoi, designed to help participants capture compelling images while gaining meaningful insights into Vietnamese culture and a strong sense of place.
I am available for editorial and commercial assignments. My work focuses on travel and tourism, art and culture, heritage, lifestyle, sustainable development, and education, with priority given to projects aligned with these fields.
